Paul and Eunice Unruh

Paul and Eunice Unruh

Paul and Eunice Unruh were born to missionary parents in Mexico and grew up as friends. It was in their homes that a desire to do God’s will was instilled in their lives.  They heard the stories of how their parents were inspired to the challenges of the mission field being obedient to God’s call.

Over their years in ministry, Paul and Eunice have been involved in helping plant two churches they turned over to Mexican leadership.  They are currently working with students from the school to plant another church in a nearby town where there was no Bible teaching church.

In all they do, Paul and Eunice are seeking to see people come to Christ and then grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Eunice’s Story

At about the age of fifteen, Eunice began teaching children when she helped lead a girl’s Bible club in her home.  When she graduated from high school she attended Prairie Bible College, Alberta.

Eunice has always been involved in ministry, although she saw bringing up her children as part of that ministry.  Over the years she taught Sunday School, held women’s Bible studies, counselled, and helped out in any way possible.  In these latter years she has seen part of her ministry as providing a place in their home where people can fellowship.  She also helps out at the Bible College buying the groceries for the kitchen.

Paul’s Story

At the age of fifteen Paul felt a desire to teach Sunday school at the church where his father was the pastor.  He taught the first and second graders for one quarter.  As graduation from High School came up, he sensed God calling him to prepare for ministry on the mission field.  For this he decided to enroll at Prairie Bible College in Three Hills, AB.

Paul has a passion for training men and women for ministry in a country where over 50% of the pastors have no training and where Bible teaching is very poor in most of the churches.  The Bible College where he teaches, over the years, has graduated hundreds of men and women who are now in ministry faithfully teaching the Word and heading up ministries that are spreading the Gospel not only in Mexico, but beyond on other mission fields.
