Church Planting

The Church is a mobile living organism made up of true believers called the body of Christ. Church planting is the intentional establishment of an agreed time and place for believers to worship God, fellowship, share the good news, train leaders, and seek ways to help others in the example of Christ.

Throughout history believers have gathered outdoors in caves, rough shelters, homes, and community centres. Often groups have been motivated to create worship centres of all shapes and sizes. Many of the grand cathedrals of Europe are remaining examples of empty worship centres where the body of Christ, the church has moved on.

In Western cultures many have turned away from large impressive structures in favour of smaller less expensive locations to gather for worship and community.
