Service is the third dimension of missions 3D threshold. Service is benevolent care and sharing the Good News on the field in far regions or right here in Canada. It is the act of giving of ones work on behalf of others as obedience to God.

In a missional mindset, service is the settling of two dynamics, discovery and adventure, with the willingness and a commitment to be an active disciple of Christ.

To be His hands and feet, more clearly defined would be, gloves and shoes, empowered by the Holy Spirit to give care, speak truth, and love to our fellow man with the Good News provision of Jesus Christ.

Service is a common term with a broad range of meanings — from joining the service for your country’s armed forces, to using a tea service for guests, setting up a ball in the game of tennis, or holding a worship service.
