Orphanage

Sion Assembly Church Ministries in India have established outreach ministry around caring for orphans and single mothers. They have built a facility to house orphans and women providing food, shelter, clothing, schooling, and gospel training. At present they care for 29 children while preparing room for more.

In Haiti, the Brinstons seek to find ways to connect orphans with families who will care for them. Their strategy is to create mini home environments including supplying goats for milk and offspring, teaching agriculture to grow food, and skillset training so that willing adults can actually find the ability to sustain themselves and adopt orphans. Bringing dignity back to the family through independence increases the potential to become a successful family. Teaching families about the love of Jesus helps bonding and purpose.
