Les Galicinski, D. Min.

Les is a husband, father, and grandfather who loves the Lord Jesus Christ. He came to faith in Christ in his late twenties after a fatal car accident in which his best friend was killed. Not long after he and his soul mate Judi were married and soon blessed with two children, Jason and Jennifer. After a successful Engineering career, Les was called to ministry in his fifties. He served for several years as Pastor of Spiritual Formation, at Harvest Bible Chapel in Barrie where he taught theology and discipleship. During that time, Les and Judi first visited India and fell in love with the Indian people. He and Judi have been back many times teaching, preaching and encouraging pastors, seminary students and churches. In 2012, Les completed a Doctor of Ministry degree at Tyndale, which led to the publication of his first book Love’s Greatest Joy – a Closer Walk with God, which has been translated into the Malayalam language of Kerala, India. The book is currently being translated into Telegu, another major Indian language. It is a discipleship primer on the essentials of the Christian life.

In 2013, Les came under the umbrella of missions 3D threshold as a supplier of ministry services in India. In that capacity He has provided training to seminary students at ACTS Institute in Bangalore, India. He has also preached and encouraged believers in Sulthan Battery in Kerela and in Vijayawada, where he worked with SAC Ministries, another missions 3D partner as well as in Calcutta and surrounding villages. In their visits to India, Les and Judi have taken a number of couples on Adventure to experience life and ministry to the people of India. Through these visits there, many Christian leaders have been encouraged and better equipped for ministry in this amazing Country.

Les is an avid sailor and enjoys hosting guests for spiritual refreshment and renewal on their sailboaton Lake Simcoe. His second book Sailing – A Metaphor for Lifewas published in 2014.

Les also serves as a pastor-at-large leading worship services at chapels in retirement homes and for a house church in Barrie. In 2016, Les and Judi visited Germany and Poland with friends to encourage Aaron and Anne Bowes, another missions 3D partner in Berlin and to visit his parent’s homeland and Wittenberg, the birthplace of the reformation that shook the world 500 years ago, this year (1517-2017).

Les and Judi have nine grandchildren, who live in Cookeville, Tennessee.
